Really,

Is it really true, that I am enlightened? Yes, it is and I am so happy to tell you about it. You too would be enlightened, if you would really listen to me and let me explain how it works. It is really simple. I have a very different enlightenment, than anyone has ever talked about. I call it Language Enlightenment (LE). I also have lots of songs on my You Tube channel about this. Just go to You Tube and type in my name, Maximus Peperkamp and you will hear me singing about my LE.

My LE has recently begun to blossom, due to my ongoing Embodied Language (EL). I discovered the difference between EL and Disembodied Language (DL) during my early twenties, but it wasn’t until the other day – or, was it last week, or last month? – that I suddenly felt comfortable talking about LE. My writing about it helped me to overcome my own hesitation, which, of course, still had to do with my own history with DL. I have now put my DL in its place – that is, behind me – by talking with myself, by listening to myself, by writing to myself and by reading my writing about my talking with myself.

I am now really enlightened. I remember saying this, many years ago, when my language was not yet fully adjusted to my experience. It was really confusing to me, since I knew, I was enlightened, but I could not believe it, because I was still having many problems, which were all related to my own conditioning with DL. I don’t have these problems anymore. They have all been solved by now and it seems as if I managed to do all this very quickly, effortlessly and effectively.

I was having so many problems, that I really couldn’t believe, I would ever be without them, yet, here I am. It all happened so fast, I don’t even know when. I cannot pinpoint any event that brought it about, but one thing is for sure, that sharing my LE with my EL, every week, on skype, with my dear Dutch friend AnnaMieke, must have something to do with it. We have made history, because by sharing our EL and LE  with each other, we both have become established in our LE. We are really the only two human beings, who not only became enlightened together, but who have acquired this EL, which – as is going to become clearer every day – is going to show us,  that everything that was said about enlightenment, without mentioning EL, was just a bunch of bullshit.

Everyone who hears and knows the great difference between DL and EL, will find that the speaker, who has DL, sounds really horrible. Everyone who speaks with a voice that demands attention, is completely unaware, that he or she sounds that way. When the person with DL, begins to hear his or her own voice, he or she is shocked to find out, that he or she is so used to speaking with a voice, which he or she him or herself doesn’t even like to listen to. Once you catch yourself having DL, you will know, you were imprisoned – your whole life – by your own DL.

DL speakers always sound really pushing, grabbing, holding, fighting, draining, annoying, distracting, sneering, grinding, pointing, slapping, defending, attacking, hiding and condemning. This is no joke, as DL is based on the struggle to get the attention from the listener. Only the most insidious, manipulative, domineering, fanatic speakers will win this battle and, there are, everywhere around the world, really only a handful of people, in DL, who are doing all the talking, supposedly, in the name of others. All of this is going to change with EL, in which everyone can have their say. Moreover, one can only engage in EL, if one accepts that one is enlightened, as it is really our LE, which makes us want to continue EL.

Once you investigate your own ability to have EL, it will become really clear to you, you are enlightened and you have always been enlightened, but  – as I have previously explained – you just didn’t have the language yet, to express it. In DL, something really nasty, stupid and profoundly problematic is going on, as everyone, inadvertently, believes, that those obsessive, grandiose, pompous, boring, scripted actors, who do all the talking, are right, but the fact is, they only know how to force their narrative to others. Certainly, there is a way of talking – which sets the stage for how we deal with our language intelligently – in which no one dominates, exploits, intimidates, minimizes, humiliates or dehumanizes  anyone. This new way of talking can’t be anything else but your EL, which always expresses your LE.

It really matters a great deal, whether you continue to unconsciously have DL or whether you come into your own with deliberate, skillful, steady, enjoyable, EL, because only with the latter, will you be able to acquire the genuine self-knowledge, with which you instruct yourself, to only have the kind of behavior, which results in positive consequences. I know you don’t really believe a word of what I say, but that is just your usual DL talking. You really need to try it out, to speak with yourself, to listen to the sound of your own voice and to notice, that when you have EL, you no longer try to sound, like this or like that.

Yes, it really is just that simple and EL sounds too good to be true and your distrust, is exactly why you don’t have it and continue with dull, mechanical, coercive DL. It is quite astonishing, but what is really taking place in the world today, is we are witnessing the swan-song of mankind’s DL. You may not want to know this, but I say to you, it is really urgently needed, to retire your dreadful, brutal and utterly meaningless DL. A beautiful future lies ahead of you, if you shift from DL – which encapsulates your entire history of conditioning – to EL, in which you will be truly reborn. The truth will set you free and your joy will really be greater than your fear. I can write and say this, because I am really enlightened.

Liberty,

Generally speaking, liberty is the freedom to do as one pleases or the quality of being free. Supposedly, everywhere around the world, people want to live within a society, without oppressive restrictions, imposed by authority on one’s individual way of life, behavior or political views. However, this is not the reality in which we live. Liberty is often associated with the notion of free will, which is described, as the ability to choose between possible courses of action unimpeded. This is the story, we are telling ourselves with our Disembodied Language (DL): the less interference in the decision-making process, the freer we are. However, when we have Embodied Language (EL), we stop telling ourselves stories, as we have stopped DL and experience our Language Enlightenment (LE). According to me, Maximus Peperkamp – you may quote me on that – the real meaning of liberty is: being in charge of our own language, by engaging in EL and expressing our LE.

Freedom and liberty are often used interchangeably, but I would consider the latter, as having more of a political slant and the former, as having more of a personal ring to it. Nevertheless, freedom is usually understood as, the ability to do what one wants or has the power to do, whereas liberty deals with the absence of restraints, which refers to our so-called rights. Of course, our liberty is limited by the rights of others, as it entails a responsible use of freedom under the rule of law, without depriving anyone else of their freedom. I would say, freedom is acting on one’s own impulses, having the unrestrained ability to fulfill one’s desires. In that sense, someone is free to murder, but one doesn’t have the liberty to do so. When you murder someone, you deprive them of their right, not to be harmed and your liberty can be taken away, as a punishment for your crime.

The compare and contrast of freedom and liberty illustrates, why people have fought for the liberty of their country, to protect their individual freedoms. Sadly, the freedom-child was continuously thrown out with the liberty-bathwater and our common, unconscious use of language is to culprit. DL, makes us assume, the written word has more value than the spoken word. This is why courts, judges, laws and lawyers are considered to be more important than our individual ability to engage in peaceful, truthful EL and acquire the self-control, responsibility and accountability, to live in freedom.  Surely, with DL, we justify our unrestrained, reactive behavior with our powerful positions in our society’s hierarchy.

People like to believe the Constitution protects their liberty, but it is only apparent to someone like me, who knows about the great difference between DL and EL, only EL can protect our liberty. What people have fought and died for, has again and again been squandered in the name of DL, our mechanical way of dealing with language. Civilizations have come and gone, knowledge was acquired and lost again, but history can be made, at this very moment, if we begin to recognize, DL has never been addressed.

When we say, that it is necessary to protect life, liberty and property, we obviously speak from the assumption of a possible threat. This is what we do, when we engage in DL, in which everything is based on fear. We haven’t stopped DL, because we have yet to acknowledge, that DL-liberty-fear-mongering  has to be stopped, in order to have EL. Moreover, no one can stop someone else’s DL, as each of us must stop our own and that is our individual freedom. In DL, we are not free. Our liberty is a pipe-dream, as we are imprisoned by our own conditioning history.

Everywhere around the world, politicians, religious leaders and other powerful individuals, endlessly dangle the carrot of maximizing individual liberty and self-determination, by carefully crafting their narrative, to dominate and exploit the masses, but none of them really understands, DL has continued unabated. Oppressors and oppressed have kept DL going, ever since man has acquired language, back in the stone-age, when they created on the walls in the caves, the first pictures of their hunting scenes. Most likely, their sounds, which referred to these heroic acts, were sounds of pride and survival and so our language began to evolve. Although we have, of course, survived due to our DL, in which only the strongest pass on their genes, it is indisputable that our DL has reached its limit. To continue DL, in the name liberty is absurd, as it needs our EL and LE.

Special,

With Disembodied Language (DL), people always pretend to be someone special, because they feel so  insignificant, but anyone, who engages in Embodied Language (EL), is special, because everyone engages in DL. Moreover, the great significance of someone with EL is only understood by others, who also have EL, but is totally ignored by the masses of people, who mechanically act out their conditioning history.

I am special, not because I am trying to be special, but because I have EL. There are many reasons, why people can’t have any EL and why they continue to act according how they were raised and taught, but the one reason, I want to address, in this writing, is the fact, that they are not allowed to be special. So, this is the great paradox: while everyone is trying to compete, who is the best, the most special, nobody is really feeling it, as their DL simply doesn’t allow it.

Anyone, who confidently, happily and consistently speaks and writes – with his or her EL – about his or her Language Enlightenment (LE), will certainly be abandoned by everyone, who considers DL to be the most important thing in their life. For them, to engage in EL is threatening, since it would totally eradicate the very basis – which, of course, is their  language – on which all their beliefs are build. By the way, EL shows us, there are no false or true beliefs, as there is no need to believe in anything.

I don’t believe myself to be special, but I am, since I have figured out how to have ongoing EL, although everyone else is having DL. Surely, I don’t have EL with anyone who engages in DL. I am proud to say, I have overcome that dreadful, demanding and disturbing desire, which was part of who I believed myself to be, but I no longer believe that. It is such a  relief, not to believe that anymore, but what is most important, is that I haven’t exchanged it for another belief. My EL is not a belief and neither is my LE. My freedom is to be and to remain without any belief.

It is such a beautiful thing, to have EL and to be able to live my life, without any belief. I now realize, that I couldn’t live my own life – with a belief – as my DL, like everyone else’s DL, is the way of dealing with language, which keeps making it seem, as if stupid, superstitious, self-imposed, stubborn, soppy beliefs, are in fact even more important than life itself. Yes, I am special, because my existence itself is the proof, that one can be perfectly at ease without any belief.

My point, that anyone with EL is special, deserves extra attention, as everyone who engages in EL will experience their own LE. Strikingly, the specialness of our EL, is because it is so ordinary. With our DL, we always want things to be bigger than life-size, but with EL, everything is in proportion, to what it can be, for us, individually. Each of us only has so many words and so many ways, to describe our own experiences, but we have exactly enough to do this, if we don’t try to be something, which we are not.

Perhaps, today is a special day, because you not only casually read this, but you suddenly understand this, because you say it and hear the sound of your own voice, while you read it out loud. If you explore this process of listening to your voice, while you speak, you are bound to stumble upon the big difference between your DL and your EL, as you can really hear the difference yourself. In DL, you sound stressed, upset, worried, anxious, sad, angry, distracted, dull and drained, but with EL, you sound happy, alive, curious, playful, funny, motivated, certain and new.

EL isn’t something, which needs to be reserved for some special occasion. This is, unfortunately, how, due to our DL, we tend to deal with anything that is of real importance to us. Supposedly, we can only have a good time, once in a while, when we can be with our friends or family, but postponement of our happiness always makes us forget about it. With DL, we are always on our way to something grand, epic and ideal, but we never seem to actually get there.

Mankind’s long, punitive history with DL, which gave rise to so many self-defeating behaviors – which can only be stopped by us – has burdened us with the false notion, that it takes effort to change behavior, but once we discover our EL, we will recognize our behavior is changing in an effortless manner. There is absolutely no need at all, to make a special effort to have EL, as such efforts have always prevented it.

I am not special because, supposedly, I have some special gift, but I am special, because my EL makes you feel special, in ways you have never felt special before. In EL, you will experience and express your true self and be surprised how incredibly different that is from DL, your usual way of dealing with your language. At first, you can’t believe it, but then you realize, you don’t need to, as you adjust to the fact, that with your DL, you could never truly be yourself.

In the First Amendment of the US Constitution, some special attention is given to the freedom of religion, as it is stated, that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of a religion, or prohibiting the exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people to peacefully assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. This is what made individual freedom finally supersede the group-behavior, which is established religion. No doubt, the secularization of society is going to continue, because we are each responsible and accountable for our own actions. Whether we admit it or not, are aware of it or not, or are allowed to say it or not, each of us experiences the consequences of our own behavior. While this is foundational for EL, it is not to DL – our common way of dealing with our language – and that is why we beat around the bush, by still making it seem as if we, as a group, as a race, as a religion, or as a country, are something special.  No Government in the world is able to redress the grievances done by DL, but, EL’s appeal to individual responsibility, makes America a very special place. What is currently happening in the United States, is the inevitable outcome of individualism on steroids, that is, of individualism based on our DL. To someone like me, who knows about the difference between DL and EL, it is clear that DL has ran its course and is on its deathbed. The blossoming of individualism hasn’t happened and couldn’t happen, since our DL has never been stopped by us. It will be a very special moment, if that happens, as we will instantly achieve our LE.

Massage,

I have the impression, that I am massaging myself with the message of my Embodied Language (EL). What is the message of my EL? It is my Language Enlightenment (LE). I am not imagining, I am really doing this. I tremendously enjoy speaking, writing, hearing and reading about my LE everyday and the only way to do that, is to express my EL. Except my dear Dutch friend, AnnaMieke, nobody else is doing this. Everyone is unknowingly getting stressed and worn out, because of Disembodied Language (DL).

Usually, a massage is given by a massage-therapist, that is, by someone else, who helps us to relax our tense muscles, but with EL, we massage ourselves. And, we are not manipulating soft tissue by hand, but we are speaking and listening to words and we are also writing and reading, about matters, which we are able to express and enjoy expressing, with our language. Moreover, in EL we are very clear, we are not massaging our minds, but our language. In doing so, our EL induces an experience of pure joy.

I don’t write metaphorically about massaging myself with my EL, I mean this quite literally. You would feel   incredibly good, if you did what I do. Of course, you can do it too. And, I don’t use any snake-oil, because I am not selling you some cheap feel-good trick, but I present you with a real possibility, you have never even considered. I wouldn’t describe engagement in EL as a massage from within, as it is truly about words, that come out of your mouth and your ability, to listen to and experience your very own language.

The massaging-effect of our own language doesn’t and cannot occur, as long as we are trying to have this effect on others. Although others may believe the glib sooth-sayers and the slick actors, who yank our emotions around with the sound of their voice, this belief is not the same, as the effect of listening to ourselves while we speak and, thus, engaging in EL. We don’t act, as if we are enlightened, but we really are enlightened, once we can continue to speak with the sound, with the vibration of our own wellbeing. Moreover, when we write about this, we will read something, which is profoundly satisfying, as we express our own truth – our LE – with our EL.

A nice massage certainly helps to relieve stress, but you have never acknowledged, your way of dealing with language creates and perpetuates stress. As a matter of fact, the way of talking, which we are all used to – and which, subsequently, determines how we commonly deal with our language for the rest of our pressured, miserable, conflicted, chaotic lives – is one big permanent struggle for attention. Our DL is not only disconnecting us from our experiences and, therefore, creating social problems, but it also is physically extremely harmful and exhausting. One day, when we are all on the same page, regarding DL and EL, we will have to acknowledge the role our DL plays in many psychological and physical illnesses.

A good massage will always make you more aware about your body. Our insensitivity to our own body, stems from our almost permanent involvement in DL. By talking out loud with yourself and by listening to how it sounds, you hear your numbness, pain, trauma, anxiety, strain and burden. Moreover, you can hear a very distinct change in the sound of your voice, once your negative experience dissolves. This is a beautiful and fascinating phenomenon, which would continue, if you would learn how to have EL.

People hold a lot of stress in their necks. When we say, someone is a real pain in the neck, we describe how our body responds, to how someone talks. It is also a very clear example about how we disembody our language, with our way of talking. It is our own neck, we are talking about, but, presumably, it is the other person, who, as we say, got under our skin.

When we experience the change from DL to EL, we clear our throats, we get things off our chest, as we speak from the heart and all our muscles relax, in a way, they have never before relaxed, as they could only do so with our EL. It is astonishing, that nobody is interested in exploring this, by talking with me. I write this to invite you, but you keep missing out, on how your EL would change your life for the better.

You would not only loosen up, but also calm down, slow down, unwind, lighten up, settle down and let go, if you would begin to express your EL. Moreover, you would rest in your LE, which is so exquisite. Only when someone is dead, we say, may he or she rest in peace, but why not say this, while you are alive? People, who stay in hotels, are lured into some spa, with advertisements that say: why not spoil yourself with a relaxing, fragrant massage? The wording of the advertisement reminds us, we need to indulge and get pampered. Since feel guilty, we are also sold on cosmetic surgeries, which also claim to enhance our wellbeing. Likewise, we seek relief from liquor, drugs and comfort-food, which make us unhealthy.

If you want a full-body massage, you don’t need oil, but the verbal, aural expression of what genuinely matters to you. In DL, you could never get to that, so you have to take time, to talk with yourself, so that you can say what you want to say. In EL, you say what you couldn’t say in DL. And, you will also hear things very differently in EL. With EL, you hear, that you don’t listen to yourself whenever you engage in DL. Nobody is in touch with their body, because it is not allowed to feel good about yourself in DL. Your EL pays attention to everything, that asks attention and you can do a complete body-scan, by simply describing, what you feel in any part of your body.

There are no different massage-techniques in EL, as everything you are capable of expressing to yourself is important. Your ability to cry is equally relaxing as your ability to laugh. Talking about DL with your EL is a lot of fun. EL is not a technique, but in DL, you keep on throwing the kitchen sink, in the idle hope, it will solve your problems. Supposedly, you use all your resources, to get to the bottom of things, but you are just exhausting yourself. Generally speaking, DL is in its final stages. No massage can give you any relief from the painful consequences of your DL. If you give EL a try, you boldly have to face the fact, that you have been using your language negatively and your body has suffered greatly because of this.

Bluf,

Strong,

Societies around the world have technologically or scientifically greatly advanced, but psychologically, human beings have remained very weak. Here, in the United States of America, but also, of course, in other countries, people are such cowards, that they refuse to talk with each other and try to prevent each other, from expressing and having an opinion.

Cancel culture is not, as everyone seems to believe, a political issue. However, the tendency to dominate and impose one’s views on others, is a characteristic of Disembodied Language (DL), which has remained the common, troublesome, unintelligent, insincere way of dealing with our language, around the world.

We would be strong, proud, honest and intelligent, if we would stop our DL and engaged in Embodied Language (EL). With EL, we would have a strong economy, a healthy culture and a renewed interest in education and science, because with our EL, we would express – and invite and stimulate everyone to express – our Language Enlightenment (LE).

I have often been judged for having strong opinions. Even those, who only know about DL, can’t stand to hear me speak, because my insistence on language, confronts them, drives them mad and makes them aggressive. Since I know the difference between DL and EL, I have 100% certainty about when someone engages in the former or the latter. Like everyone, I was, due to my own conditioning with DL, afraid.

We can never become psychologically, culturally, nationally, philosophically or spiritually resolved or at peace with ourselves and each other, with our automatic DL, because our unconscious, habitual use of language prevents it. Once we have stopped our DL and acquired EL, it is very clear to us, our psychology, philosophy, spirituality, nationality and culture have distracted us from our use of language.

Everyone shies away from acknowledging, exploring and boldly expressing, the great difference between DL and EL, because they have literally been drained by their use of language. Although I too, of course, have had my own problems with DL, people often wondered about me, why I am always so positive, so full of energy and, apparently, so strong. Even before I discovered about the difference between DL and EL, in my early twenties, I was already on my way, to leaving behind all my misery and problems.

I was – and I still am – strong enough, to cry about what makes me sad. Also, I am deeply moved by beauty and by compassion. I hear, experience and enjoy it, whenever there is a brief moment of EL, in the midst of the cacophony and chaos of DL. I have survived abuse and trauma and I am strong enough to write this blog, for myself and for those, who, like me, have gathered the courage, to engage in EL.

Obviously, our perception about being strong, was shaped by our conditioning history with DL and not by EL. Those, who consider themselves to be strong with DL, find someone like me, with EL, weak. Yet, I don’t feel weak and I never felt weak. I was always certain, it was my sensitivity, my emotionality, which made me overcome my troubles and my great fears. Yes, I was very afraid, but, somehow, I faced my fear.

Strong reasons make strong actions. Once we know about the immense difference between DL and EL, we can’t go back to our old conditioning, to act out of fear and to continue with our DL, as we know, we can – and, therefore, have to – stop our DL. Even if we fail over and over again, we don’t give up, since it is such victory, each time we are able to overcome our own conditioning. And, as we experience more and more EL, we feel stronger and stronger, we are on the right path, as our LE begins to shine its light.

With DL, we only pay lip-service about being strong, but our EL shows, our true strength, is not what we believed it to be. Indeed, one has to be strong, to be certain, to trust oneself, and, to admit, there is no such thing as inner strength, strength in our faith or  in our determination to stick to our goals.  All of that fanatism and craziness is make-believe, perpetuated by our DL. Our real strength, is about speaking and hearing – and acting on – our own truth. One has to be strong to remain alone, as no one can help us, in being ourselves, by expressing our own authority. It is our LE, which makes us stop our DL and have EL.
