Create,
I feel so happy,
because I have created another text to an already existing song. I am going to sing
it and record it soon. Check my You Tube channel and type Maximus Peperkamp. Each
melody – I like and can find and play the chords on my ukulele – becomes a part
of my repertoire, that keeps on growing.
I love to
play simple melodies and effortlessly put my own words to them. This creative process
reflects my Embodied Language (EL), in which the words emerge as they come. Of
course, with each of my songs, I feel very strongly, that the words, which I
bring to the melody, are caused by the melody.
In EL, I say
and create what I want to say, based on the sound of my wellbeing. I always say
something new, even though the words have already been used many times.
Similarly, the melodies, I chose to sing, have already been sung by others, but
I update them, with my own text and my interpretation.
Another
aspect of EL, is that it is a re-interpretation of the DL, which everyone is
unconsciously involved in. I am capable of doing this, because I listen to the
sound of my own voice, while I speak. Anyone who would do what I do, would want
to do the same, as our individual experience of our own language, is where our language
becomes meaningful to us.
In DL, we
don’t listen to ourselves while we speak and, consequently, our language is meaningless
to who we are as individuals. Although we pretend, defend and make all kinds of
forceful claims, in DL our mechanical language isn’t working for us, but
against us. It isn’t until we really begin to listen to ourselves, that this
self-defeating process stops and that, instead, we use our language to create.
Surely, during
DL, we let others, with their use of language, determine our reality, but during
EL, we determine our own reality, with our own language. It is often said, people
are entitled to their own opinion, but not to their own facts, but with EL,
we find this so-called confusion about
the difference between opinion and facts, is due to DL. Once we engage in EL,
we state the fact of our experience, to which only we – as individuals – have
access.
Although we
may believe – in DL – to be using our own language, when we take time, to speak
with ourselves and listen to ourselves, we find, to our big surprise, we speak with a sound, which sounds
alien to us and makes us disconnected from ourselves. This negative sound
stops, as we can recognize it was imposed on us. However, when we continue to
speak with this strange sound, which doesn’t belong to us, we also impose our DL
on ourselves.
We stop
imposing anything on ourselves – and on each other – if we accept, understand,
recognize and, therefore, stop our DL and discover ways to continue with our
EL. In other words, we begin to create our own lives with our EL. This experience
of creation is so powerful and enchanting. It protects, encourages, enriches
and energizes us.
Once we have
identified the enormous difference between our DL and our EL, we want to go on
with our EL, as we want to do what we are naturally inclined to do. This is not
something idealistic, but realistic and pragmatic.
Moreover, we experience – immediately – the positive consequences of our
actions. These direct effects are so tangible, that we have faith in the positive
long-term effects of our EL, which will always eventually occur.
With our EL,
we create order, which replaces the disorder and chaos of our previous DL.
Initially, our EL is not continuous, because we were conditioned to have DL,
but, as we keep catching ourselves with our old habit of having DL, we begin to
witness the gradual decline of our DL and the increase of our EL.
This verbal change
– from disorder to order – has an impact
of all our other behaviors, as all the behavior that was controlled by our DL
is also stopped. Only the behavior which is controlled by our EL remains.
There is going
to be a complete overhaul of our behavioral repertoire. We – quite literally – create
new opportunities, as we can act, consistently, on our own instructions, about
what we should do and shouldn’t do, to be happy, successful and satisfied.
Once we joyfully
create our own reality with our EL, we are no longer vulnerable to how others
view us, as they don’t affect us with their DL anymore. Since you are in
charge, you are now your own authority, as your EL stimulates you to be a light
onto yourself.
With each increase
of our EL, we experience more of our freedom. It is important, to take note of
the audible, noticeable and observable fact, that we don’t create anything inside
of our so-called mind with our EL, but we express, overtly, while we speak or
while we write, our new delightful way of dealing with our language. Our lives
keep improving without having any sense that we are working on it, because we
create new circumstances with our language, in which we can and will be new,
due to our sound.
Our natural,
relaxed embodied energy, our resonant voice, leads the way and assures us, that
we create our own wholeness. As our EL gains momentum, we can’t avoid noticing
the accumulative effects of the many positive, self-evident changes, which go a
long with this transformative process and perceive our ongoing EL, as our Language
Enlightenment (LE).
Each time,
we stop our DL and continue our EL, we fully acknowledge DL and EL are mutually
exclusive. When our DL stops, our EL begins and if our EL stops our DL takes
over again. Each time we succeed in having EL – even only a few moments – we already
experience aspects of our LE. We realize, we have always had these experiences,
even while we didn’t have the language to express them. In effect, we now create,
with our EL, who we have always been.
