Surrender,
No, you
don’t have a mind or a soul, which hungers for truth or redemption. Also, it
isn’t your pride or your sin, which is troubling you. You need to talk with
yourself, instead of with others. And, yes, you need to listen to yourself,
instead of to others and be your own authority.
You will
never experience the true meaning of surrender, unless you recognize and stop
your Disembodied Language (DL) and continue with your Embodied Language (EL).
Ongoing EL is only possible for those, who surrender to their own intelligence.
Everything you have read or heard about surrender was based on DL. Let me go
over a couple of meanings of surrender.
Surrender is
associated with war and giving up resistance to an enemy and submitting to
their authority. One easily recognizes involuntariness and compulsion, as the
main characteristic of such a surrender. Threatened by violence or death, one
capitulates, gives in, concedes or submits. In our usual way of talking, we
struggle to dominate each other and get the attention.
Those who
win the war of words, maintain their power-status by threatening their competitors.
This is how people communicate – with DL – in every society, around the world.
We haven’t even addressed the enormously important difference between our DL
and EL. The opposite of surrender also tells us about DL, as we fight back,
resist or try to withstand our adversary. In other words, we argue, quarrel and
compete.
Surrender is
a concept in spirituality or religion, which – unbeknownst to its submissive
believers, because we were unable to identify and stop our DL – has taken the place of our EL. The believer gives up
his or her own will and subjects all his or her thoughts, ideas and deeds to
the will and teachings of a higher power or deity. Anyone who knows the
difference between our DL and EL, will acknowledge, that surrender is always
about our coercive, punitive way of talking, DL, which, by means of imaginary meaningless
concepts – thoughts or ideas – distracts us from and confuses us about our own
experiences.
Due to our
unconscious DL, we do things, we don’t want to do, because surrender is the
willful acceptance and yielding to a dominating force. The famous saying, there
are no atheists in foxholes – which, of course, is another reference to war,
where soldiers shoot at each other, while they are sitting in a hole in the
ground – is an aphorism, which suggests, that times of extreme stress or fear
can prompt the believe in a higher power. In such a dangerous situation, in
which bullets are flying and death may happen at any moment, soldiers surrender
and pray, in the hope to survive this battle.
In
Christianity, one surrenders one’s own will to god’s will. Some Buddhist',
thirteen-in-a-dozen guru stated, there is nothing to understand, but if there
is something to understand (?), there is only one thing to understand(!), and
that is surrender. The meaning of Islam is submission and believers surrender
themselves to Allah. In Hinduism they
read the Gita, in which Krishna says: abandon all varieties of
religion and just surrender onto me. I shall deliver you from all sinful
actions. Do not fear. Nobody was ever told, to surrender to what you want to
say to yourself, to listen to what you would like to hear yourself say and to truly be
who you want to be with your own happy language.
When we
engage in ongoing EL, we surrender to the sound of our own wellbeing. We become
important to ourselves, by identifying, avoiding and rejecting the DL with
others. When we talk with ourselves, we always have EL. If we don't have EL, we don't really speak with ourselves. When we speak out loud with
ourselves, we know, we can speak with others in the exact same way, as we speak with
ourselves. Since we prefer our EL over our DL, we surrender to the process of
overcoming our conditioning history with DL. In our devotion to EL, we discover our Language Enlightenment
(LE) and we realize, it is our LE, which makes us surrender ourselves to our
EL. Who we are and have always been, is revealed by our surrender to listening
to ourselves while we speak.
***Warning: If we don’t explore the difference between our
own DL and EL, we cannot come together as one people. Religiously, politically,
culturally or scientifically, sticking to the same narrative, has never brought
about any EL. To the contrary, it perpetuated DL and this is what is creating
all the chaos, conflicts and problems.
You can see my videos and listen to me talking about DL, EL and LE on You Tube. Just type
maximuspeperkamp-hw8sw or Maximus Peperkamp. My skypename is limbicease I look
forward to talking with anyone who is willing to explore the difference between
their DL and EL. Talking with me is about surrender to yourself.
