 Direction,

Without Embodied Language (EL), we have no direction in our lives. We are, literally, all over the place with our Disembodied Language (DL), and whatever we do, it has no meaning, as far as being true to ourselves. Stated differently, with DL, we move away from ourselves, into all sorts of activities, but with our EL, we come to and stay with, who we truly are. In other words, with ongoing EL, we look back on our history of conditioning with DL, as we face the direction from which we have come. Everything we have claimed to be – our so-called identity – is our past, but with EL, something new can emerge.

The word direction, comes Latin, directionem, a making straight, a straight line; directio, a directing toward something; from di-rigere, to set straight, arrange, to give a particular direction to; from dis – which means, apart + regere – which means, to direct, to guide, keep straight. We only have the capacity to direct our language during EL, as only in EL do we let our language unfold. In DL, by contrast, we repeat, that is, our negative verbal past is our future.

With our usual way of talking, that is, with DL, we are inevitably heading into the direction of our past. Only if we listen to ourselves while we speak and engage in EL, can we immediately, effortlessly, redirect ourselves and step out of our conditioning history with DL. However, it makes no sense, to only do this once or twice or whenever we, feel like it, as our conditioning history with DL, will only lose its grip, when we understand, by speaking, listening, writing and reading, that the direction of our EL, is always about the here and now. Therefore, we are in the here and now, because we speak and listen simultaneously. Also, we write and on our You Tube channel, we read our own writing. In other words, what we have said is documented.

Obviously, due to our DL, we are, unknowingly, all used to take direction from others. We like to believe, we determine our own direction, but once we identify the difference between our DL and EL, we realize, we were mechanically going in a direction, we didn’t want to go. Surely, our freedom, is to go into the direction, we want to go. However, this is not a matter of choice, but of our ability to stop our DL, so that we are able to instruct ourselves differently. As we verbally give attention, to whatever was asking our attention, our direction is fully understood, because with our ongoing EL, we are always expressing our Language Enlightenment (LE).

With regard to switching from DL to EL, there is no such a thing, as moving into the direction of the solution. There are no approximations of EL, you either have it or you don’t and if you have it, you know, you have it, immediately. There is no gradual movement, in the right direction and such language belongs to our DL, in which we believe to be working towards a better future.

Everyone who seriously explores the difference between their own DL and EL, will have admit, being alone, is necessary, to find your own direction. As long as you remain busy with others, you are bound to take directions from them. Social conditioning is such, that listening, always means, listening to the someone else. You break an ancient taboo in EL, because by listening to yourself, you go against the group. In DL, authority was someone else, but with your ongoing EL, you are our own authority.

Water flows down-hill; thus, it naturally goes in a particular direction. The exact same principle applies to our language, but, of course, only, if we listen to ourselves, while we speak. With ongoing EL, we always say, without any problem, with great precision, care, understanding and joy, what we are experiencing. Moreover, our EL is majestically silent, even while it is a roaring waterfall or rapid. Our LE isn’t the ocean, in which the river ends, but the current itself. We are alive and awake, because we are natural.

When we visualize taking steps into the right direction, we miss out on what it is like, to say and hear, that we have found our direction. In DL, we attempt to go forcefully from point A to point B and we imagine and strive for a straight line, but in EL, we are receptive, silent, gentle, creative and moved by our positive emotions. With ongoing EL, we are home in our LE, and we aren’t going anywhere, as we are happy to be where we are.
